Great Travel System!

In LOVE with this car seat/stroller combo. It looks very stylish to the eye and it's super easy to handle as far as retracting the stroller. Major THUMBS UP.

Don't go by the price .

We bought this for our yet to be born 2nd baby . One we already have a graco (which we bought for our first one ) we dint wanted to spend too much on a new travel system. So this travel system was a the cheapest we found on amazon . (The same product is around 140$+ in other sites) . Although there were no reviews we bought this thinking it was a bargain.
However we RETURNED the product the very next day as we dint find it to be safe . Here's what we felt about the travel system . Please note that we did not check how the car seat fits into the base. So I have not written about the base.
First the positives :
1) it's was delivers on time
2) no damage
3) easy to assemble
4) looks good
5) the stroller is sturdy and has convenient parent tray with lids for safety of phones
6) the stroller seat is soft and cushiony.
7) the stroller conveniently closes with one hand
8) the stroller and the car seat are lightweight
Now the most important .... the negatives :
Infant car seat :
1) the infant car seat doesn't "click" into the stroller so the infant car seat feels wobbly on the stroller
2) it's not too cushiony . We felt it will need an additional cushion that comes for another 15$
3) the straps have to adjusted from the back ( it's not a big issue for us though)
4) the seat as such feels like is made of cheap material.
5) unlike the graco we have the seat belt doesn't go from behind the infant car seat it goes through infant car seat so it will kind of go under cushion of the car seat so it will be uncomfortable for the baby coz the infant car seat cushion is already too thin.
6) the canopy is too flimsy and will not protect the baby from sun or drizzle
Stroller :
1) the stroller doesn't have shoulder strap , how ever it has a waist strap the goes between the legs it did keep my "jumpy" 18 month old in place but not sure how safe it will be for a 6 -7 month old who would jus be learning to sit .
2) the canopy is too thin .. It will not be able to protect the baby from even a small drizzle so u need to invest in a weather shield which is another 15$
So you have to spend another 30 $ min on the product even if u feel its safe . Instead u can buy a better travel system for 150$ 160 $.
Overall I feel that the car seat has safety issues as it doesn't fit we'll into the stroller .
